In “What is pollution,” by BBC NEWS (n.d.), the author talks about the fact that now our ocean is not clean; humans have begun to make it worse. But the ocean is a big home for millions of animals to live in. Humans use a lot of different kinds of things to pollute our world, like plastic and litter and some chemicals. So ocean environments have a lot of problems. Now we know the Caribbean is a little place in the ocean; it is polluted, but we need think about the whole ocean, not a part. The ocean is very important for humans; if we lose it, we will lose our future. But humans have three ways of polluting our ocean. “There are over 80% of marine pollution comes from land-based activities,” (WWF, n.d.). Because we have factories, we need mining to build cars, machines and others. So these cause a lot of pollution. And the next way is shipping; people need ships to ship a lot of goods to other countries, and the ship owners let the waste and other trash go into the ocean, they need make more money and do not care the ocean, money decided people’s future. But sometimes oil spills are huge problems; they will kill thousands of animals and humans’ health problems on will follow. And the last one is greenhouse gas. People build the factories and make the greenhouse gas; this can change the world weather’s temperature, so the ocean’s temperature follows and rises up. If the ocean temperature changes a little, it will make a lot of animals die. So we face a lot of problems now, we should stop pollution the sea.
A lot of people still think it doesn’t matter for the ocean; it is really huge; it cleans by itself. But they are wrong. There are a lot of animals that live in the ocean; it is easy for them to die because of pollution. When they die, we have food problems and it will be worse. This is a big problem for humans. But now most people still think the ocean is a giant dustbin. We have a lot of people who already know this is wrong, and they have begun to try to save the ocean, like Greenpeace and other organizations. We still need more people to know and understand how bad it is. These let people know what kind of problem we will have if we do not stop to polluting the ocean.
The first problem is that sea food causes a food problem. All of people know food is the basic source for people to survive. People need food and a lot of countries close to ocean and people need food from the ocean. But we pollute the ocean, and a lot of animals die. The fishman is difficult to get more fish, because we have no fish anymore. We know the coral crisis is important in the ocean; it is not only beautiful and people can put these at home, but also a lot of fish think these are their home and they live there to get food and have baby. But in the article, “Coral Crisis: Global warming, trawling, pollutants threaten the world’s coral population,” the author tells us ‘About 70% of the world’s coral reefs have been adversely affected by rising water temperatures. And about 20% have been damaged beyond repair’. This example shows us the ocean is not only important for us but also important for animals. Now the world food problem is very serious problem for humans, a lot of people have no enough food to eat and then they think the ocean is their last choice to get food. We will face the problem if we lose the coral, we will have a world food problem and a lot of people will die because of have no enough food to survive, at the end of we will lose our future.
The second problem is the sea pollution causes an animal problem; the ocean is a living space for millions of animals. But in the article ‘Pollution’ the author tell us, “Factories and farmers nutrient pollution from sewage discharges and agriculture can result in unsightly and possibly dangerous "blooms" of algae in coastal waters,” they will use all of the Oxygen and then there will have no animals live in it. When we polluting the ocean, we cause two ways to kill animals, and future human will know how badly it is. When animals die out in this area, the water smile will be real bad. In the future human will not only pollute the ocean, it also causes the air pollution. Offshore drilling platform is another problem, people just want to have more money, and stop think environment, money turns human’s head, benefit let human forget everything. So this is real dangerous for human. Injures someone causes self infliction, this is a warming, and human need be more careful now.
The third one is the human health problem, and it is the most important for us. People need pay a lot of money to take care of themselves. When people need mining for money and let economic develop, and we have a lot of chemical factories; most of the dirty water have a lot of bad things will go into the ocean, these cause the water to be polluted very badly. And do you want to eat this fish from a dirty place? Nobody wants to eat it, because it is real bad, and most chemical will go to the human body and we will have a health problem, so this causes the food problem too. In the history of Japan, there is one thing a lot of people will never forget that tragedy. Japan is an island country, most people eat sea food. But a lot of chemical factories dumped a lot of chemical into water, and later ‘Minamata Disease” cause a lot of sick and die. This is a good example to warming people must stop polluting the ocean. Because at the end of it will let ourselves have health problem. And the oil spills will cause a lot of human health problems too, like in Alaska, people cost a lot of money to fix that big problem. So we need to stop it now to think more about our future.
My opponents say that our ocean pollution is ok. Our ocean has been polluted for a long time, but this is just a part of the ocean. A lot of people think our ocean is very big, and most places in the earth are ocean, so we have just polluted a little part, and the ocean can clean itself, so we just can continue to do that, it doesn’t matter for the ocean. Now, this is totaling wrong. We have polluted it faster than the ocean can clean itself. The ocean is polluted by human just time. When we polluting the ocean, which means we try to let ourselves in trouble. Lose the ocean; later a lot of people will face hungry. When people polluted the ocean, another way to say is the food is can not be eat. The food problem, the animals’ problem and our health problem are the good example to show us. If people continue polluting the ocean, the earth everything will be change, at that time people try to save the ocean is too late, and the ocean will attack us and show her power to us. So it is time to say we need stop polluting the ocean, nobody want to face these problems, do not let the ‘The day after tomorrow’ be our future lives.
In conclusion, the ocean has a problem now, because of humans. We need to think to save the world live hood and save the ocean, because sea pollution will cause a world food problem, and it will cause animals’ problems and later human health will have problems too. So this is very serious for human. But a lot of people still think that the ocean is too big, and it doesn’t matter if it is polluted, but they will change soon; we have begun to face a lot of problems. , when people lose their health, they will think they need change, but at that time it is too late. Now we need saving the ocean before we have health problem, or it will be too late for us. The ocean is very important, we save the ocean as same as saving ourselves.

Internet chat we lose something
Now it is the technology age, and we have a lot of new technology. Internet is already in our daily lives. We are using Internet for chat, sharing pictures and video. So Internet is very useful. People who use chat can talk with friends, and it is cheaper than sending text messages. This is a good idea for people to communicate, but this has some problems. Because of chat, students begin to be lazy and rude. They can use what they want in the online chat. Should we allow the students to continue using online chat? The answer to this question is real clearly ‘NO’. Students should stop using chat because it makes them lazy and rude.
The first reason we should not allow using chat is it will make students be lazy and have a spelling problem. According to Lee’s article, “Teachers say that paper are being written with shortened words, improper capitalization and punctuation, and characters like $& and @” (2002, para. 12-14). This is true; because students use chat all the time, now some students have problems writing a sentence and spelling. The news social communication is built on text message, and it is famous for young people. We need to stop students from using this, because they begin to be lazy and in the future they will be more different to write a sentence.
The last reason students should stop using text communication is that they begin to be rude. Internet is a free world for people, so you can say what you want there. So if they begin to use rude words online, and keep using them for long times, they feel it is ok to use them anywhere. “First of all, it is very rude, and it is very careless,” said Lois Moran, “Lee, 2002, paras. 12-14). Yes, it is true, because they use Internet all the time, so this causes them to use a lot of wrong spelling and make it simple, and online chat has no grammar and spell check, so you can do what you want. This is a big problem for students; they will be careless with any paraphrase, and in the future it will be hard for them to write a sentence. So this is the second reason we need to make students stop using online chat.

Sea pollution needs be fixed by a lot of people
In Lee’s article “Ship owners must help cut pollution,” he tells us that the sea pollution is worse than before, because the shipping industry makes more greenhouse gas than others and they make more pollution like oil and daily trash in the ocean. So now it is a warning for humans. There are three reasons we need to make ship owners cut pollution now. The first reason is they make more greenhouse gas than other industries and the second reason is they make more pollution in the water. The last reason is that sea food has a problem, and humans will have a problem soon. So we need make people do something to stop it. Now I believe these are true, and the ocean environment is even worse than before.

So this is a big problem for us. The world temperature has gone up; that means a lot of ice will thaw to water, and we will have a desalination problem. They use a lot of water and dirty water is dumped from sinks, from people who take showers and use toilets and make solid wastes. These mouthy come from ships, and we need ship owners of cut pollution as soon as they can, or our ocean’s future will have a big problem.
The last one is a lot of countries’ people love to eat fish; they will eat a lot of fish for their lives. But now we need to think if fish are living in a dirty place with a lot of trash and dirty water, will you love eat them? No, you will be worried that if you eat them you will have a health problem. So, there is a lot of dirty water and oil in the ocean, they come from ship owners who just put them into ocean and do not care what happens in the future. So this is another reason we need to make ship owners cut pollution.
In conclusion, the ship owners should cut pollution; this answer is very clear. This is because the ship industry makes more greenhouse gas than other industry, they put more pollution into the water, sea food has a problem, and humans will have a problem soon. Global warming in our world
In Loft’s article “Coral Crisis: Global warning, trawling, pollutants threaten the world’s coral population,” he tell us that greenhouse gases change the weather’s temperature and at the same time change ocean’s temperature. It is very bad for coral, and coral is very important for humans. So we need to try to fix the coral crisis and fix a lot of global warming. The first reason we need to fix this problem is that the coral crisis comes from the world and the ocean temperature goes up. The second is if coral has a big problem, that means our food will have a problem and the last one is that in the world a lot of things are changed; it is a warning for humans. Although I believe these are true and we need to do something for our future.
First, because the ocean’s temperature has gone up, “70 percent of coral species are threatened and 20 percent are damaged beyond repair”. We must address the fact that they have caused the ocean’s temperature to rise. The reason we have this problem is humans. We have a lot of factories, and they will put a lot of CO2 (Greenhouse Gas) in the air. That’s the way our world temperature goes up, and some places already have lost the winter or winter is shorter than before. People can‘t feel or have difficultly feeling temperature change, but coral are vulnerable to changes in temperature; a little change will make them die. So we need to be careful about greenhouse gas; if we don’t pay attention right now, we will have a problem in the future.
We must save our fish to save ourselves. Second, the ocean is human’s biggest food source; we have a lot of food that comes from the ocean. They are like home and nurseries for fish. “They are a rich source of food for countless species, including more than 4,000 varieties of fish” (Para13). So we eat fish and fish need coral to live. So if fish lose their home, what will happen in our future? We will lose food and our world food problem will be even worse. So saving the world is like saving ourselves. Because of the coral crisis, there will be an ecology problem; at that time it will be like a movie call “The Day after Tomorrow”. Nobody will survive. Nobody wants to this happen; now we need do something to save them.
The last one is that as the world population goes up, humans develop and change the world in everything, like the weather, environment and lives. There are a lot of animals that are vulnerable to changes in temperature. This cause us have a lot of an end species? If we let this still happen, at the end these will be nothing in the world. We face an ecology crisis now, because humans have not cared about this before. And the ocean is an important place for humans, “many scientists fear that the planet's biggest ecosystem could reach a tipping point with depleting nutrients in the oceans (para1).” So we need pay attention to our ocean; this is the biggest place and is important in the world.
Whether or not humans should pay attention to our world, the answer is we must stop and begin to think about our world’s feeling. The world is like our home; we need to think if our home has some problems, what we can do or what we need to do. Now, before we have these crises, we need to try to stop global warning. And we need to think about the ocean, it is not our natural trash can, it is the world’s staff. If we lose the ocean, we will lose our future.
